Is this thing free? What's the catch?
BudgetSimple is 100% free. There are not even any ads, and you do not need to give any information that will identify you personally. This product was designed to help people get out of debt and save more. If we can get just one person to accomplish this, then it is worth it.
What do you do with my data?
Nothing! Your data is your data alone. We will never snoop through your finances or reveal them to any third parties.
Where did my expenses go? I logged in and everything I entered is gone.
Each month, BudgetSimple resets your expenses, so you get to start fresh again. To see the expenses you entered last month, change the month drop down at the top of your expenses page to a previous month.
I put in too much (or the wrong amount) for my expenses! How do I delete it?
If you make a mistake, and put an expense in twice, or the wrong amount, just add a negative expense for the difference. So if you put in an extra expense of $250, add a new expense in the same category for -250. I know, so simple it's difficult!
